About the artist

Raised in Santa Barbara, California, Sherrie McIntyre now lives with her husband in Mattawan, Michigan.  She grew up in the outdoors, enjoying surfing, fishing, hiking, and backpacking.  Art has been a huge part of her life since early grade school, with her first prized work being "Blue Horse," as she was fond of horseback riding.  Since then, she has pursued many different subjects in various mediums, including oil painting, watercolors, ceramics, jewelry making, and fiber arts.  Her greatest joy is to have others enjoy her paintings, and she loves nothing more than to share her work.
